Comprehensive Care for Growing Smiles

Welcome to Children’s Dentistry online! We love being your child’s dental home, and we offer a full range of treatments for children and individuals with special needs. When you visit our practice, you can count on receiving the highest quality of care and service in an atmosphere that is positive, caring, and comfortable. Our pediatric dentists and team are dedicated to helping each patient we meet to achieve and maintain good oral health.

Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and the American Dental Association (ADA), recommend that children visit a pediatric dental office by the time of their first birthday. Establishing a dental home makes it more likely that children will receive appropriate preventive dental care and also increases the likelihood of a healthy mouth and smile.

Our pediatric dentists provide free dental exams for all children until their third birthday through our Free Under Three program. These visits focus on proper diet and nutrition, developing healthy oral habits, and parents’ role in helping their children keep their teeth and mouth clean. While your child’s visit will focus primarily on them, it is also designed to be an educational experience for parents. After examining your child’s mouth and providing any recommendations for ongoing care and oral health at home, our pediatric dentists will provide a fluoride treatment. If there is a need for X-rays or other dental treatment, these services will be charged according to our normal fee schedule.

Our goal at Children’s Dentistry is to help children develop positive associations with the dental office and develop a trusting relationship with the children we meet to avoid anxiety and fear while at our office. Parents play an important role in making their children’s first visit to the dentist positive and enjoyable.
